There are so many different aspects to being a clinician that I enjoy that it is difficult to summarize or pick a single one. I love helping my clients make small changes that add up every day. One great choice will always lead to another. I love hearing how well the coping went between sessions and what kind of creative self-expression they engaged with this week. I love seeing that wall come down when they realize I am trustworthy. It's all about #smallwins.
Intimacy can be challenging to engage in and understand. I would love to help my clients live in a world where every romantic relationship is full of passion, desire, trust, and admiration. With everything adulting demands of us daily, we begin sacrificing our needs. Sexual desires, fantasies, and physical fulfillments seem to be some of the first items on the list to fall off the bottom. I want to work with individuals and couples struggling to understand their sexuality or connect through intimacy.
If you are feeling stuck in your physical life with your partner, let's visit the idea of taking it into therapy to work through anything that could be blocking your exploration and trust. Couples' intimacy sessions are about opening up vulnerability and becoming comfortable with your own sexuality while integrating it with your partner's needs and preferences. Discover different communication methods, and open up ways to hear your partner and respond to them that create unity and sparks.

Living life while managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or factors of each can feel overwhelming and complicated. As a mental health professional specializing in trauma recovery, I enjoy helping clients thrive beyond their traumatic experiences, which is often the source of many different feelings, triggers, and behaviors. I have a special passion for supporting domestic abuse and childhood trauma survivors recover, rebuild, heal, and thrive. Trauma comes from mental, sexual, verbal, psychological, physical, financial, or emotional abuse, neglect, or manipulation, which can be complicated to recover from and is a path best traveled with a professional. I provide the tools and support to release pain, making room for self-love and emotional freedom, which helps you grow in confidence and discover who you truly are.I offer a no-nonsense approach, delivered with intellect and empathy. My clients tell me I'm a great listener, which I enjoy doing, and I believe it is one of my greatest strengths. Paired with evidence-based practices, creative expression, and the introduction of new skills and understanding, I can help guide you on the path, and you will never be left out in the cold.
I always meet my clients where they are so we can walk that journey together, because emotional support is a right, not a privilege. Email me to set up a short phone call to discuss what you are looking for help with, and then we can take it from there.
