I'm so excited to be here--living my dream of helping clients thrive and creating original art.
My passion for creativity began in my youth as I explored art and design. After watching my grandmother magically transform yards of fabric into clothing, my admiration grew, and I asked her to teach me to sew. I ventured into quilt-making, igniting the passion that still burns today, and we began quilting and learning together. After finishing the program at RIT, I became career focused and opened a graphic design studio specializing in custom marketing materials.
After many years in the marketing industry, I returned to quilting after learning I would soon be a mother. After designing his quilt I was inspired by how my ideas shifted and my designs strengthened as my professional experience grew. I switched my medium from print to textiles and began making original designs while also taking custom requests for memory quilts (tee-shirt quilts) from clients.
In 2019, I shifted my focus to mental health and I became a therapist. Creativity always shows up in my work, and I stumbled upon this idea of creative expression; a mysterious and invisible bridge that has become one of my favorite healing tools. Creative expression for me is which fabrics to use, how to quilt it, etc, letting my intuition guide me, and it's a profound experience that I can now share. I have discovered a whole new passion for quilting after discovering the benefits of creative expression, and I've ventured into new ways of being creative.
